Bad weather in Northern Quebec mean the journey can be highly variable, and the loads are mixed produce, some ethylene producing and some ethylene sensitive, so using the ethylene scavengers has had a big effect to reduce losses and improve quality in these remote communities which don’t otherwise have reliable access to fresh produce.
